One rota is a snapshot. A year of them is the story your trust won't tell you — where the hours creep, where the rest goes missing, what you're owed over time.

Questions doctors ask
What entitlement does a rota breach give me?+
Under the 2016 contract, a Schedule-3 breach can entitle you to exception-report pay, time back in lieu, or rest you missed — and a repeat pattern of breaches triggers Guardian fines payable to your trust’s Guardian of Safe Working fund. Your actual £ entitlement depends on your nodal pay point, banding, the breach type, and your trust’s process. Folio surfaces the breach so you can raise an exception report; Pro pre-fills the formal letter and tracks the 14-day acknowledgment deadline. (We deliberately don’t quote a single £ figure until the per-breach entitlement model has been clinically validated — the 2016 TCS treats different breach types differently.)
What is exception reporting?+
Under the 2016 contract, when your actual work diverges from your work schedule — extra hours, missed breaks, unsafe rest — you raise an exception report. Your guardian of safe working must respond, and you may be owed time back in lieu or pay. We draft the report for you.
Is anything stored or sent?+
On the free checker, no — the calculation runs entirely in your browser and nothing leaves your device. With Pro you choose to save rotas to your account so you can track them over time.
Can I model my signed 48-hour opt-out?+
Yes, on Pro. The 48-hour average cap is removed while the other seven Schedule-3 safety checks — rest, breaks, consecutive nights, weekend frequency — still apply in full.
